Moonlight - Murdo A MacLeod
Murdo A MacLeod is a self-taught exponent of the button-key accordion, who began playing professionally with Andy McColl’s Ceilidh Band while still a student at Glasgow School of Art.
After some years with the band he left to become a solo performer at Highland Gatherings and Ceilidhs in and around Glasgow and also began radio broadcasting.
He was one of the musicians asked to take part in the Celtic Week in Copenhagen in June 1986, joining Capercaille, Ultan Celynen and Gwertz as representatives of the Celtic folk music culture in Europe.
This CD contains a large part of the original cassette of the same title, plus 3 new tracks.
